Our little club was formed about 10 years ago in Sun Lakes Arizona. For various reasons we moved from that location to our current location on the Felix Ranch. Thats why we still call ourselves the Sun Lakes Radio Control Club even though there are no lakes anywhere near here.
Over the years we’ve had between 40 and 80 members. The club is most active in the fall, winter and spring. Many of our members are American and Canadian snowbirds.
We are a volunteer club – everything we have here was built and is maintained by our members – past and present. We’ve had a LOT of help from the Felix Family (who own the ranch). In fact, without their support we wouldn’t be here. Thanks!
The guy in the picture is John. He is a past and current president and has been with us the longest. He spearheaded most of the building projects. His enthusiasm is contagious and inspirational.
